Sky TV— We like to show all the best sport, as often as we can! Check out our blackboard and the public bar window to see what games are showing throughout the week. We’ll try to show all the Premiership matches, including the Sky+ matches at 17:15 on a Saturday night and 20:00 on a Monday night,. And don’t forget, the Rugby World Cup kicks off in September! Why not reserve a Big Match Table and make sure you have the best seat in the house?

Golf Society – The Bat and Ball golf society plays every last Friday of the month and new keen golfers are always welcome. There is always a list on our sports blackboard in the pub, so put your name down and join us. Don’t worry about how high or low your handicap might be, the more the merrier!

Monday Madness is still going strong—From 18:30 Monday Night! 2 courses for £5 or 3 courses for £7.50. The Madness menu changes every week, so its not hard to find something you’ll enjoy.

A Pie and a Pint - Wednesday night from 18:30 – Shepherd's pie, Steak and Larkins and the Pie of the week! Only £7.50 ( Don’t worry, you can have a glass of wine or a soft drink instead of a Pint!)

Seniors Lunch, Monday to Friday Lunchtimes – 2 courses for £5, so why don’t you meet with some friends for lunch?

Sandwich and a Pint– For only £5, choose from the wide variety of sandwiches on our menu and then have a pint, a glass of wine or a soft drink!

Sunday BBQ– every Sunday from 16:30 we like to have a BBQ with fresh homemade salad selection and a wide variety of meats and fish. So if you want good BBQ food without the hassle of cooking it yourself, why not join us in our secluded garden.
